So a friend of mine got a smoking deal and is going to Las Vegas. She and some friends leave tomorrow morning and come back on Saturday. She's been checking the weather, planning what to pack, working out who's going to drive to the airport, are they going to leave a car there...all the important details.
Then one of the group that are going calls and asks if she knows what's going on in Las Vegas all week and this weekend. Her answer is "no, I have no idea".
The answer - the equivalent to the academy awards for the porn industry.
Lessons to be learned - 1. Always check around and see what else might be going on in a city that you're planning on visiting. 2. If you're going to be in a city that will be full or porn stars waiting to walk a red carpet, it won't matter what you pack to wear. No one will be looking at you anyway.
